Reader, the depth and foresight of Gods word will never cease to amaze me. When I first come to learn about this warning in the Word of God, I must openly admit I was taken back for a few days. Should I have really been surprised that Christ could and did warn us about Female talk show hosts? No I shouldn’t have.

The word of God was written before the creation of the earth, so no doubt it has explicit warnings about the goings on of this place in its end times, and technology and increased knowledge is no barrier for the prophecies of the bible.

Let’s read the first 8 verses of 2 Timothy 3, I have highlight important words in red,

• 1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
• 2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
• 3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
• 4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
• 5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
• 6: For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
• 7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
• 8: Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

What’s the Message?

Paul is giving us a clear warning here, in verse 5 he tells us to turn away from people who fit this chapters description. Interestingly he is giving this warning to us all, male and female, the chapter is not written exclusively for a female audience. There is a number of deeper points to learn however from this text.

Verse 1:          Tells us when these events will occur.

Verse 2 to 4:   Tells us what ungodliness these people will have.

Verse 5:           Warns us of a deception, these people will in case appear godly, but will be far from it!

Verse 6 to 7:   Tells us that silly women, laden with sin, will enter our homes, full of knowledge and teachings but none of it containing the truth.

Paul without knowing was speaking of women talk show hosts, appearing in our homes via technology and the internet, laden with sin and ungodly teachings, and he told us to have no part in it. Here is a list of some of the most popular women talk show hosts that I could find,

3. Wendy Williams
4. Katie Couric
5. Rosie O’Donnell
6. Tyra Banks
7. Whoopi Goldberg
8. Barbara Walters
9. Joan Rivers
10. Queen Latifah

Now lets just review some of the examples of topics that are discussed on these shows,

• Adultery
• Lust
• Greed
• Multiple Sexual Partners
• Acceptance of Homosexuality
• Homosexual marriage
• The renouncement of Salvation in Christ.
• Gender Fluidity
• Resentment and Anger
• Deceit and Manipulation

What’s worse, is that these shows glorify these acts. Simply by being on television and your home computer these shows act in a pseudo authoritative nature. Moreover, as these shows appeal to the flesh, and we are warned about our daily fight against the flesh, allowing your family or teenage children to watch these shows is in fact feeding the flesh, which is why Paul gives us these stern warnings in 2 Timothy.

The Hidden Confirmation

Never before in the history of humanity do we have a system on earth that fulfils the requirements of the prophecy of 2 Timothy 3. Dinah’s Place begun during 1970 and was televised until 1974 by Dinah Shore. This show is considered the foundation of these women talk shows. Can we then say the bible is confirming that from the 1970s onwards that this period of time is the end times?

I believe it does. It is hard to imagine that Paul was referring to another system of silly women that creep into houses. The current events fit hand in glove with this prophecy which confirms we truly live in a period of time the bible calls the end times.

Conclusion

Revealing the wonders of the word of God and revealing the fulfillment of prophecies is amazing, however the bigger picture on this topic is the stern warning of the moral failings of the modern women talk shows. If you are a parent, reveal these truths to your children, if you are a husband remove the ability for your family to watch these filthy shows in the family home.

Husbands know this, the enemy desires to make your family desire the things of this fallen world, television and these filthy shows are a direct part of the enemies plan to plant seeds of greed and lust in your wife and children, and you should remove them as soon as possible.
